Today I was pleased to find more eco-friendly products at my local Giant food store.
I saw cleaning and laundry products from Method and Seventh Generation which were new. I also picked up Bon Ami there also.
In the personal care section I found some new toothpastes such as Jason and Dr Ken's brands. I also saw my current selection by Kiss My Face.
What's really nice about Giant's website is they have a shopping list that you can go through their weekly circular online and print out your list. I use that frequently. They also offer recipes and internet coupons.

Sunday Circulars Get Rid of the Staples, Please
What's on sale this week? Easy to find out in your Sunday newspaper ads.
But what a pain in the butt some of them are to recycle. There are only a few companies that add staples to their circulars every week. I ask the question is this really necessary? Surely it adds to the cost of producing the weekly circulars. Maybe I am just not getting the point. But many other companies don't bind their pages together in this way.
I have to get out my little tool from the drawer to remove the 2-3 staples before putting them into the bin.
I think companies could do a bit more to help the consumer recycle in such simple ways as this. Just my 2 cents.
